The results from follicular unit extraction are not exactly permanent
  • After the procedure, you should sleep in semi-sitting position for at least a few weeks so that the swelling gets healed quickly. It should also prevent you from touching the operated areas accidentally.
  • You should not scratch, touch or rub the areas treated for hair transplantation.
  • Your doctor may or may not advise you to use a shampoo on your hair the next day of treatment. You may also be asked to apply shampoo to your hair twice every day for about 7 days after the treatment.
  • Make sure you take all medications prescribed by the doctor
  • Avoid smoking and drinking alcohol for two weeks after the treatment.
  • Use a bandana or a hat to cover your head so that it is not directly exposed to UV rays.
  • Do not perform any heavy exercise or strenuous activity for about 28 to 30 days following the FUE procedure.
