Male pattern hair loss and female pattern hair loss are the most common forms. As a person ages a process called miniaturization occurs resulting in shrinking of follicles and thinning of hair ultimately leading to stoppage of hair growth. Hair thinning medically termed as androgenetic alopecia occurs because of dihydrotestosterone acting on hair follicles in the scalp. The DHT diminishes blood supply and prevents the absorption of essential nutrients by the hair follicle. Excess of DHT can induce inflammation around follicles resulting in further hair loss.
ATP (Adenosine Triphosphate) is the energy transporter to cells. A person having insufficient level of ATP, the energy is not able to reach hair follicle for breaking the excess level of DHT. Oxidative stress produced by radical components is another factor that contributes to hair loss.
In Laser therapy, a low-level laser therapy device invented after two decades of research and development is used. This is a safe, easy and an effective hair loss treatment. This comb makes use of laser phototherapy for effectively promoting hair growth. The energy released from visible light in white spectrum is a very good treatment for the stimulation hair follicles so that hair production increased.
How to use?
Place the laser comb on your head in such a way that both the rows of teeth are touching the scalp. Move the laser comb in slow combing motion from the front hair line to the back of the scalp. Pause every 1 cm for 4 seconds. Now start moving the laser comb from one side of the head in a combing motion to the other side. Fingers or a comb can be used for keeping the long hair on the head lifted so that the energy of the laser beam reaches scalp without any intervention.
How to clean the laser comb?
- ■ Clean the laser comb window with a mildly moistened cloth.
- ■ Dust or dirt on the laser teeth has to be removed gently with a moistened cloth or towel. Remove the teeth from the device gently by pulling from the center. Once the teeth are dry, insert it by pressing the bottom tabs.
- ■ Use warm water only. No soap or detergents are allowed.
